In 2021, Sai Amrit Employability Skill Trust to undertake Bridge RPL on-site skill trainings of construction workers at construction sites. This training program was initiated by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The program aims to fulfill the gap and upgrade skills of the construction workers to meet global benchmarks, which in return shall increase the productivity of the workforce.
The need for Skill Development programs thus becomes a fit case; given the shortage of skilled manpower in the construction industry on the one hand and high levels of unemployment in the country on the other. It is in this background that SAEST has been focusing on Skill Development in the Construction and related sectors in a strategic way.
